What is the difference between primer, concealer, foundation, & tinted moisturizer?!?

Primer- it's supposed to help your makeup adhere to the skin. For people with oily skin, it's supposed to keep some of the oil from messing up your make-up. Can also be used as base on the eyelid to keep the shadow from melting or creasing.

Concealer- Used to cover things like zits, dark under eye circles, scars, etc. Stuff that's not going to get covered by foundation alone. It's a very high coverage, opaque formula. Usually comes in wand, pot, or stick form.

Foundation- For evening out your skin tone. Also known as base. Most of us have uneven skin tones, so you put foundation on to basically make the skin look the same color. Coverage can vary from sheer to heavy (but not as heavy as concealer) and can come in liquid, creme, stick, and powder form.

Tinted moisturizer - Just as the name implies, moisturizer with a bit of tint to it. Sheerest of the sheer coverage. Used for an extremely natural look or if you have great looking skin that day. What is the difference between primer, concealer, foundation, %26amp; tinted moisturizer?!?
A primer creates a smooth canvas for you to apply makeup. Concealer covers zits and dark circles. Foundation gives your skin an even look. And tinted moisturizer is a light weight foundation. What is the difference between primer, concealer, foundation, %26amp; tinted moisturizer?!?
Primer - Gets your face ready for foundation

Concealer - Conceals dark eyes or blemishes

Foundation - Evens skin tone out

Tinted moisturizer - Moisturizer that has a tint to it.

I only use tinted moisturizer
foundation and concealer are more heavy if you want a natural look tinted moisturiser is best because its light
