With foundation and concealer can you mix brands?

I was wondering because I really like Maybelline's Mineral Power Concealer and I want to try Loreal's Bare Naturale foundation and I didn't know if it was a wise idea to use the Maybelline concealer with the Loreal foundation.

Does any one have any recommendations on it?With foundation and concealer can you mix brands?
You can mix brands but they may not match exactly right.

If you use the same brand they match. With foundation and concealer can you mix brands?
yeah mix all ya want :]

with the concealer make sure not to put to much on (even if stuff is still showing a little) cuz it just starts to look super fake.

i would also reccomend i light liquid like neutrogena. i find that it looks really good.

  • Where will i find the perfect foundation and concealer?

help... has anybody found the most perfect foundation and concealer?

i cant find either that blends in with my pale skin tone or hides the darkest dark circles under my eyes and blemishes on my chin!

    Helpppppp please!

Ohh... these products have to be sold in the U.K!

wrong category Where will i find the perfect foundation and concealer?
I like the Mabelline Age Rewind Concealer. Its great to hide undereye circle that are very dark.

To hide blemish or acne scars, if its red then a light green concealer will work. Remember to add a light coat on red acne scars/blemish and over your foundation. If your acne scar is dark then a light concealer will work. I recommend Physician Formula.

These product can be found in drug store. If you like to order online I really love everyday minerals foundation and concealer. They are great for dark, dark, undereyes circle. Order there free sample shippinf cost 3$ -5$ (www.everydayminerals.com)

Remember your concealer have to be one shade lighter than your skin.

    MAYBELLINE for sure

What do you think of maybellines mineral power liquid foundation and concealer?

it sucks.....its cheap crapWhat do you think of maybellines mineral power liquid foundation and concealer?
I love maybelline. I have found that the maybelline is the most affordable line of mineral makeup that actually works. N it stays true to what mineral make up is suppose to be. Alot of the other brands found at the drugstore claim to be mineral makeup, but contain ingredients that should never be found in mineral makeup.

The easiest way to tell if ur being cheated is to look at the ingredients...if a make up claiming to be mineral make up has ';talc'; in its ingredients then its no good. What do you think of maybellines mineral power liquid foundation and concealer?
I wouldn't know. Maybelline tests on animals so I don't buy it!

I do like Physician's Formula mineral makeup and Bare Minerals Matte though.

What pressed powder, foundation, and concealer works best?

I have somewhat acne-prone, oily skin (dry in a couple places). Thanks in advance! What pressed powder, foundation, and concealer works best?
I use Maybelline Dream Matte but some people breakout from that. Give Neutrogena a shot! Make sure its oil free

I like Rimmel Pressed Powder Stay Matte for especially oily areas. Apply with a sponge or brush- looks good either way. I use it on the tzone, nose %26amp; chin.

Concealer- loooooove neutrogena 3 in 1 for eyes- but i use it everywhere.

loosepowders are good for oil. i really love Benefit Bluff Dust but its for red skin.

Another powder foundation i like is Physicians formula. Sometimes I just use concealer then put some of that rimmel stuff on then buff the physicians formula powder in with a powder brush(i like eco tools). it looks really niceWhat pressed powder, foundation, and concealer works best?
if you have bad acne you proly use foundations that have medicine in it. proactive has one. also, i heard that since bear essencials doesnt clog ur pores it doesnt make it worse. i would think that foundation would make the problem worse. concealer doesnt matter since you put it in you eyes unless is for covering. then, mabe one that also has medicine. i would go to a dermatologist even if all of your money goes in to it trust me you will b satisfied n scare free.. that is priceless
I have read in multiple style mags that there a few tricks that you should do if you have oily skin. First, wash your face. It gets the oils out and softens the skin. Then right after put on some face lotion. (it will keep the moisture in from the wash). Now that you have to test out for what works best for your skin. Then put on a liquid foundation with a brush. They say you can put it on it on with your finger but that may but the oils from your hand on to your face. Don't use a sponge because it soaks up all the concealer and you waste so much of it. After which, then (with a brush) lightly brush a translucent powder over top. You can make it transparent or a shade close to your skin tone. This makes everything blend and it gives a much more flawless look.

As for what you should use, make sure whatever you buy is oil free. It should state if it is on the side of the container. It would be better if it was hypo-allergenic becausee then there is a smaller chance that you will break out with more pimples, therefore making a vicious cycle. Plus test the stuff out with testers, you can match your skin tone and you will be able to see if you have any reactions to the stuff.

I find myself that once my face is even-toned the rest of my make-up really pops. Especially in the eyes.

    good luck!

I like TruBlend by Covergirl for foundation. I hate having a heavy foundation because it feels gross and this one is sort of watery and doesn't cake on.

I'm still on the hunt for a good concealer because right now I have this crappy lipstick tube looking one by Covergirl. It covers blemishes pretty well but it doesn't do anything for the bags under my eyes.

Anyway, TruBlend is good! =) It also comes with numbers so you can match your blush and powder with it perfectly. =)

depends on what kinda coverage you want. if you want light, try loreal bare naturale mineral powder foundation. i use that and love it. it doesnt make me break out at all.

Any tips on how to find a foundation and concealer to match my skin tone?

Okay so I have pale skin, blonde hair/blue eyes. I don't have any yellow or olive type undertones. But anyways, I can't find any concealer or foundation to match my skin. The ones I have now make my face look pink or orange-like...which is just awful! I have really sensitive skin---almost everything makes me break-out. And I have problem with dryness too. So any bands, shades anything that would work? Thanks:)Any tips on how to find a foundation and concealer to match my skin tone?

Get MAC studio fix for powder %26amp; foundation and Maybelline 24 hour super stay concealer. :)

I tried Loreal true color match liquid before.. It's so watery and oily on my face. %26amp; also their powder.. which doesn't match up to MAC! and Physician formula concealers aren't that good either. What is some good powder foundation, concealer, foundation?
    I hear ya girl :)

    At walmart (or any drugstore places) you can use a liquid foundation called ';Revlon Colorstay Foundation';

Many people compare it to the Mac Foundation. And Revlon Colorstay Foundation is REALLY good. It actually sticks onto your skin!

For example: I put it on, and right after, I tapped a piece of toilet paper on my face to see if it would budge or rub onto the tissue, and WALA! it stayed. so no worries on it rubbing onto your shirt or someone elses when you hug them.

    Try it :) Good luck!

plus, they have it for oily skin to dry skin.
I use Pur Minerals. It is the only 4-in-1 out there. 1. Concealer. 2. Foundation. 3. Sunscreen. 4 Finishing powder.

This is a pressed powder. I love it. I have been using it for over a year %26amp; would not trade it for anything. You can get it at Dillards (in a big city smaller ones will not carry it) Utla stores or Ulta.com. It runs $24.50 but when you add this stuff up separately it will be about the same or a little more depends on what you already use. At the end of the day my makeup still looks good not much shine at all. It does a very good cover up. The have a starter kit. It will come with a chisel brush. I also use their Pur Minerals Marble Blush Pink. I use the same brush to apply the blush. I use Pur Minerals Mineral Glow. Get that healthy, sun-kissed look all year with this micronized mineral powder with golden undertones. Apply to your T zone %26amp; along the jawline.

I use Loreal Bare Naturale Eyeliner. It comes with a brush. If you want your eyes to look bigger than apply the eyeliner on the outside of the eyelid. Smaller on the inside. But if you use the Loreal it is a powder which is good because it lasts longer. If you want a pencil I used Maybelline Line Point. You don鈥檛 have to worry about sharpening that one. I use to use it until I tried Loreal. Now I would not go back to the pencil. I love Revlon鈥檚 new Colorstay Ultimate Lipcolor. It really works. I apply it in the morning %26amp; never reapply during to day or at night. Good luck %26amp; God bless you.

Eh...I wouldn't go with Revlon Colorstay. I haven't actually tried it, but I have tried MAC Studio Fix Fluid, and i've heard they're very similar, and Studio Fix Fluid is VERY full coverage, so i'm assuming that so is the Colorstay. If you're just starting to want to wear foundation, i wouldn't go full coverage. I would try L'Oreal True Match foundation, again i haven't tried it, but i also heard it's good. I think it's light to medium coverage, and they have a good range of colors, so i think you'll be able to find your shade. My best advice is to experiment, and read reviews at this website: http://makeupalley.com/

    Good luck :)
My best bet would be, for a cheap one, the best for oily skin that doesnt make me break out and is oil free is

1)I use this one everyday for 2 years now, its very light and never caky ever! It doesnt block pores and is oil free. I live on this one, it covers from light to strong face blemishes, try a free sample. Im sure you'll love it!

    http://www.revlon.com/ProductCatalog/ProductDetails.aspx?CategoryID=1%26amp;SubCategoryID=3%26amp;ProductID=18

    2) I love this one, and I still use it, when my skin gets dry and oil spots at the same time. Good thing about this foundation it is also oil free and clog free. Best thing about is it healthy for you and clears your skin while wearing, also removes red skin tone slowly, or red patches. It is not cake and light, might feel thicker than first but still light.

    3) This one is me last choice, it covers very well and doesnt become caky, its good for normal skin, but i have oil and it also works, it doenst free pores and is not oil free, but it is to put one with one layer.

What's the difference in Concealer and Foundation?

both are make up. but what is the purpose for each one. Am i using my make up wrong or something. I thought they were the same thing. What's the difference in Concealer and Foundation?
Concealer is usually what you use first - you apply to little areas such as pimples or dark circles under your eyes or red patches. But be careful to blend it in really well.

Then you use foundation over the top all over your face. Blend that in really really well especially down your throat. There's nothing worse than having a visible line on your jaw where your foundation ends! What's the difference in Concealer and Foundation?
Concealer is a thicker formula, meant to hide specific imperfections (like pimples, redness, under eye circles, etc). Foundation is for the whole face to even out skin tone and give a general smooth skin appearance. Whether you apply the concealer or the foundation first is up to you. Some people apply concealer first so that foundation can be put on top of everything and even everything out. The problem with this is that you will probably end up wiping off some of the concealer by blending the foundation on top. If you apply your foundation first (which I would recommend) then you can apply your concealer on top and have it stay on well. This shouldn't be a problem as long as you pick a good shade of concealer that blends into your overall skintone :)

    Hope that helps! :)
Concealer is pretty much like the name suggests, use it for dark spots, such as under your eyes, or if you have a scar from a zit or something, it's to help even your skin tone, so when you apply your foundation, it looks flawless.
foundation is for all over your face, to even out your skin tone and hid blemishes. Concealer is for under your eyes, to hide dark circles and for any pimples you may have.
foundation is for your whole face.

Concealer - undereye circles/blemishes/discoloration that the foundation doesn't cover.

Can you really use concealer and foundation on the lips?

To get the nude lip look, i've read that concealer and foundation can be used witha dash of lipgloss, but i'm jus wondering how? I mean how and why is it ok to put on?? Like is their any websites or sources where it says it's cool to use them on the lips. Hope i made myself clear. And if it is ok to use foundation on the lips, then can i use the olay touch of foundation???Can you really use concealer and foundation on the lips?
Yes you can, its perfectly harmless, most people use concealer or cover stick rather than foundation as its cheaper. Can you really use concealer and foundation on the lips?
I have very pigmented lips. Lipstick/gloss never shows their true colour on my lips. I use foundation lightly (I don't need coverage on my lips unlike the rest of the face) before putting on lipstick. It helps to show true colours. I love it and never had any harm from it.
Yes its totally fine it make lip stick stay put for hours its so much better than a lip stain
yeah. makeup in general is safe to ingest i think. it soaks into your bloodstream anyway right?

and think about how many tubes of lipgloss a year you go through? think it just falls off? nope. you eat it.

    chemists have thought of this.

i use foundation in my nude look everyday.

Whats the difference between foundation, concealer &nd base?

what the difference between all that? which ones should you use? PLEASE HELP, %26amp;nd give any additional info.Whats the difference between foundation, concealer %26amp;nd base?
    * Concealer. Concealer (a.k.a. ';cover stick';) goes under foundation and is used for spot treatments. It's great at hiding baggy eyes, pimples, and other blemishes. It comes in liquid bottles and tubes (which are thinner and good for drier skin), and sticks and compacts (which are thicker and good for oilier skin). Choose a concealer that is slightly lighter than your regular skin color - the foundation that you apply over it will even it out.

    * Foundation. Foundation goes on all over your face to make it looks uniform and smooth. It comes in three types: liquid, cream, and powder. Make sure that your foundation is oil-based for dry skin, oil-free for oily skin, and water-based for combination skin.

    * Powder (a.k.a. base) . Powder can be applied over foundation to help ';set'; it, but its main purpose is to help keep your face looking fresh as the day wears on. For that reason, powder usually goes in portable, easy-to-use packaging. While lots of people like loose powder, we prefer pressed powder - it's just neater and it seems to last longer.

I hope this helps!Whats the difference between foundation, concealer %26amp;nd base?
Base, or Primer, is an invisible all over face product that morphs into your skin and helps your foundation stay on longer.

Foundation is an all over face product that makes your skin virtually flawless (depending on the quality) and covers up all of your blemishes.

If you have excessive blemishes that your foundation does not cover (such as, zits or under-eye bags) you can use concealer to, well, conceal them.

Steps go in this order: Base, Foundation, Concealer
Base is something that goes on before foundation and concealer.

You can use vaseline as a base, under the eyes and on the cheek bones.

First, evenly apply foundation, then use a light layer of concealer under eyes. Make sure that if you are using a liquid foundation, use a liquid concealer, and if you are using a powdered foundation, use a power concealer.
Foundation is what you put on your whole face...

Concealer is what your put or impurities on your face such as spots or dark bags..

Not sure what base is :S...just guessing its what you put on before foundation :S not sure tho!!

Powder is what you put ontop of foundation so it stay on longer also powder prevents your becoming 'shiny' greasy lookin :D

    hope that helps

What are you supposed to use for applying foundation or concealer to your face?

foundation: finger is good enough. use a tapping motion instead of a dragging motion. What are you supposed to use for applying foundation or concealer to your face?
Fingertips or a makeup sponge will do.What are you supposed to use for applying foundation or concealer to your face?
Hmmmmm...you're supposed to use a wedge sponge , but I always liked the round sponges that resemble a powder puff....just my personal preference.
it depends...if it's liquid, then you can use pretty much whatever you want, but most people use disposable sponge wedges that you can buy, and if its powder than most people use a blush brush type.
A foundation brush works really well. And if you use expensive make-up like me (Chanel), you will save yourself some money because a little foundation goes a long way with a brush. Unlike sponges that soak up the liquid causing you to over use the product. Also clean fingertips.
you can use your fingers, a spounge or for conceler a brush.
Some people use their fingers, some use brushes, but i think the best way to have a full coverage of your foundation is a sponge! It may look like your wasting makeup into the sponge but they really get the best coverage w/ out as many streaks and missed spots...

Dont forget to put foundation on ur neck so that you dont have a line across your cheekbone.
    a makeup sponge
blow your face off and deal with reallity accept your face and stop being in denail if you remember who i am

They make special disposable makeup pads that you can use to apply the foundation or concealer. I personally use my fingers to make sure that I am able to blend it in well.
You're supposed to use one of these little wedge sponges.

The sponge should also be damp. This will give you more even coverage. Don't use your fingers. You'll be adding oil to your face. Also, you don't want to rub the foundation in your skin. You just want to pat it on lightly. The sponge is best.
Okay, the current trend among professional make-up artists is to use brushes. They make both foundation brushes and concealor brushes. I used the foundation brush for a while, but ended up going back to just using my fingers, less waste and better blending.

The posters here crack me up, your fingers aren't ';oily'; unless you've been eating at KFC and I would hope we all have enough sense to wash our hands before applying make-up!!!

Also, nobody uses sponges anymore, they are very unsanitary (unless you use a fresh on every time and that would get expensive). Also, you DO waste a lot of product this way (which is why all the cosmetic counters advocate using a foundation brush, along with the fact that is one more thing they can sell you:-)

I do love the concealor brushes, however, they allow you to get the concealor all the way up under the lashline and blend away any concealor that gathers in fine lines (not that I have any, lol)
if you want the most natural look, use your fingertips. Just make sure your hands are really clean so that you don't spread bacteria or oils and end up breaking out. If you don't like that idea you can get little sponges to use in the makeup isle, or use a q-tip
Most of the time a sponge pad is best, but you can also use a blush brush %26lt;---- I prefer that better it spreads more evenlly on my skin
either a make up wedge/sponge or a foundation brush/concealer brush

MAC Select MoistureCover is great for under eye dark circles.

MAC Studio Finish is great for pimples and etc..

Best Foundation I ever used is MAC Mineralized SatinFinish with SPF15.

This foundation gives me low - medium coverage and also has a nice glow to it.

    Good Luck! =)
I am personally in love with Smashbox concealers. For one, they have TONS of shades and it's pretty easy to find your color. The concealer goes on pretty easily and isn't overly obvious.

But for dark undereye circles, you'd best invest in a liquid concealer. I'd recommend Clinique.
I use all different brands of makeup(shadow, blush, lipstick, gloss) but I always use Mary Kay foundation and concealer.I love it.I think it looks natural, smooth and it covers well.
I like Neutrogena for liquid concealer, and Everyday Minerals for both powder concealer and foundation.

As for liquid foundation, Revlon has good ones.

What is the difference between foundation, concealer, powder, coverup?

everyone calls makeup different names so i was just wondering which is which

thx +]What is the difference between foundation, concealer, powder, coverup?
semanticsWhat is the difference between foundation, concealer, powder, coverup?
Foundation: comes in liquid, powder, cream, mousse, spray. Used to even out skintone, hide imperfections. The more problems you have to cover, the more pigment(color) you need to cover. Young people usually don't need heavy-duty foundation, just a bit of color to even skintone.

Concealer is usually in stick or cream, is used on specific areas, such as under eye circles, pimples, broken capillaries.

Powder can be used alone, but is usually used to set your foundation. Some powders are translucent, which means they have no color, just provide an invisible finishing and provide a nice look. There are more powders out there than you can imagine, and they do a great job manufacturing them these days. Go look at the cosmetic counters and see 'em all.

Hope this helps you figure them out!
Foundation- evens out your skin tone, goes all over your face

Concealer-for covering up little imperfections( zits and stuff)

Powder- Goes on after the 2 previous, just for a nice natural looking finish

Coverup pretty much includes concealer and foundation
I think conceler and coverup are thicker than foundation in order to cover up blemishes better. Powder, I obviously cant use, so i have no idea. Maybe to make your face less greasy looking?
foundation is the liquid you find in the little bottles thats is basically the actual makeup, and it goes on all of your face.

concealer is just for small imperfections.

powder is just pressed powder that you can wear alone or over the liquid and concealer.
Concealer and coverup are the same thing, they are full coverage to cover under eye circles, blemishes, redness and darkness. Foundation can be liquid, powder or cream and it has light to full coverage and creates a ';base'; for the rest of your makeup. Powder could mean powder foundation (compact or loose like mineral powder) or setting powder like loose or pressed powder. Setting powder is light weight and provides little coverage, but it sets your makeup so it will last all day. HTH!
concealer and cover up are the same thing...

    1. foundation should be a base . (closest color to ur natural one if poss not darker u will look orange not tanned! bronzer is for looking tanned!)

    2. concealer, use on blemishes, spots, dark circles under eyes ( or use touch eclat if u can affoard it works miricles)

    3. powder, this can be used last with a brush not a pad to give a light matt finish. good if u have a t-zone.

a full face of make up like this should only be used on special occassions if u wear this much make up every day it will age your skin. most people just need a bit of conceler under eyes if u have tierd / dark circles. and a bit of mascara.
cover up and concealer are the same thing, but they come is liquid or in solid.

foundation is a liquid that you cover your whole face with to even your complection

powder is well a powder that you put on your face to remove shin and to make your face all one color

also there is mineral makeup which is the in between of fountation and powder. it works as well as a foundation but it covers shine
Foundation: evens out the skin tone

Concealer: 1) covers skin blemishes and 2) hides under-eye circles

Powder: keeps the the foundation and concealer on longer, smooths out the skin, and mattefies the skin

I don't really know what coverup is, but I think it's another name for heavy foundation? =S

    I hope I helped.
foundation is a usually a liquid that you put on to even out your skin tone

concealer is thicker than foundation and you can put it on over or under foundation to help hide zits, dark circles, etc.

powder is obviously a powder that you put on after your foundation and concealer to help set it
Foundation: A base layer of make-up the same shade as your skin tone. It can be a cream, mousse or powder.

Concealer: A stick of skin-coloured make-up to hide spots and marks. Only applied to problem areas. It's usually in a tube that looks like lipstick.

Powder: Can be used instead of or on top of foundation. Translucent powder is used to keep make-up in place.

Coverup: Not quite sure on this one, I think it's like concealer but used the same way foundation is.
foundation is like the colored lotion in the bottle.

concealer covers up things, by concealing, imperfections.

powder is pressed powder in a compact that you put on over when your done with foundation/concealer.

i just wear powder by itself.
foundation is a base color for you face..in case you have an uneven skin tone, it evens it out. concealer/coverup it meant only to cover blemishes and it thicker than foundation. and powder is used to make your makeup last longer and not rub off as easily, it goes over the others.. hope this helps

Can concealer cover what foundation cant?

I had a pimple and its gone now but theres a mark on where it was. No matter how much i apply foundation to the same spot it doesnt cover. Can concealer cover it?Can concealer cover what foundation cant?
Yes, you can apply it before, or after, whichever way works best to cover it up......Can concealer cover what foundation cant?
most of the times that is a truth...but i hated having to use 2 different things...i started using Dinair Airbrush Makeup 2 years ago and i LOVE it..it covers everything and makes my skin look flawless...its also all water based so its not bad for ur skin.anyhow i always recommend it to people who after looking for something great for their skin...anywho..hope i helped...=)
Yes. That is why concealer, a more concentrated version of foundation if you will, exists.

Or, use a heavy/high coverage foundation.

of course it can! that's what concealer is here for, to cover up blemishes spots, and circles.
Yes it can(if it's a good brand), but your foundation should be able to cover it if you apply it with a sponge and really press it into the skin where the zit was. I gives a lot more coverage that way.

I recommend any mac or nyx concealer.
If the spot is red, you need to use a green concealer to cancel out the red and then put on foundation over the spot. If it's a scar, Dermablend is an AMAZING concealer, it even covers tattoos. You can buy it at Ulta.

  • What is the difference between concealer, bronzer, and foundation?

In what order are you suppose to put it on in?

Do you put on toner first?

What other products are there that you put on your face before those things.. like moisturizer?

Ahh.. Help! Thanks! What is the difference between concealer, bronzer, and foundation?
First wash your face and use your moisturizer and toner, you need a good base to put on your makeup. Then use foundation all over your face to even out your skin tone. Next use concealor in places where you need extra coverage (ex: pimple, undereye circles). Then bronzer goes on your cheeks, and other places the sun would naturally hit, like your forehead or top of your nose, but mainly the cheeks. What is the difference between concealer, bronzer, and foundation?
well concealer comes in a tube or as a stick and is aka cover up its used for covering blemishes or bags under the eyes, things like that you put this on first. foundation is the stuff that you put all over your face and neck to even your skin tone you put this on second. thirdly i recomend a pressed powder over the entire face and neck where the foundation was applied so that your skin doesnt appear oily or feel sticky. and now you apply blush and bronzer with a brush, first on the apple of your cheeks and then outwards, bronzer is a beautiful thing but when applied improperly can look like a really bad fake tan. so dont over do the bronzer just a little is all you need try to apply less to the nose chin and forehead area. i dont recommend applyin moisturizer before putting on makeup bcz it just adds to the overall greasy look of the foundation and can actually cause breakouts under the skin, it would be a good idea to swab on some toner before you put concealer on tho, it will help to close the pores in your skin so that it doesnt absorb the makeup and lessening the chance of acne.

    hope that answers your question!
concealer- goes over pimples, blemishes, etc.

    Bronzer- Makes you appear tanner, gives your skin that ';glowing look.';

Foundation- Can be liquid, or powder. Goes on over concealer, and before bronzer. :)

    Hope I helped
concealer hides blemishes and imperfections bronzer darkens your skin like a sunless tanner foundation is makeup I put my makeup in this order foundation concealer then the bronzer you should always use a moisturizer before applying makeup
I wash my face, then use a moisturizer, then concealer (which covers up pimples and red spots), then foundation (to set it), then I use a powder, then blush.
    concealer-overs blemishes

foundation-evens out the skin tone and makes u have a flawless look

bronzer-iy makes ur face glow and gives it a tan kinda feel

    toner goes first

    then cocealer

    then foundation

    then bronzer
    concealier-hides blemishes+circles under eyes

bronzer- add a spark of color!

foundation- not sure how to explain it

Foundation or concealer that looks natural?

Something thats easy to find like at wal mart or target.

i have sort of dark circles and want my face to look natural

can you recommend any? about how much?Foundation or concealer that looks natural?
Almay Nearly Naked is great! It is very light and natural looking. It covers any dark spots I might have on my face and I can also put it under my eyes if they look tired. I love the stuff and it looks way better than most liquid foundations and definetly better than powder. It's about $10.Foundation or concealer that looks natural?
You should use Revlon. All though it is the most expensive foundation out of all store bought make-up.......it's the best and it covers up all marks and dark circles under eyes too.
Any foundation of concealer looks natural as long as you know how to wear it.If youre going to wear foundation apply it over your whole face even your eyelids and under your eyebrows.Make sure you put it on in good lighting and rub it in good so you dont have a makeup line or blotches.

After you apply your foundation put on the concealer. If you wear just concealer it will look uneven.

I would recommend loreal paris truematch.Im very satisfied with this product. Though be carefull not to apply to much.To find your right color test it on the inside of your wrist.

I hope I could help you in finding what your looking for.As long as you apply the right amount and use the right shade it will look very natural.I cannot remember the exact price but each is about eight dollars which is not to pricey at all.

You may find you would be more satisfied with another product but as long as you follow these tips you should be okay.
I have Revlon matte finish, and it looks really natural on me. I got it a little lighter than my skin and it still looks natural.

I think for dark circles you have to use concealor, i have horrible dark eye circles too.

What do i wear for foundation and concealer at the beach?

i need to wear foundation and cover-up...but i'm going to be at the beach and probably swimming a bit this summer, what should i do about my makeup?

any really good oil-free waterproof makeup?

...including foundation, concealer, eyeliner, and mascara.

thanks =]What do i wear for foundation and concealer at the beach?
i know you probably hate to hear this.. but you really will look out of place wearing makeup like that at the beach... but if you're that desperate, make sure you apply a high SPF sunscreen, preferably designed for the face. then re-apply a little bit of bronzer after you go into the water to even out your skin tone. Then if you need to, a little bit of waterproof mascara and eyeliner if it makes you comfortable.

I swear by MAC and Dior make up, but Revlon still have pretty good stuff for cheaper too. What do i wear for foundation and concealer at the beach?
DON'T wear waterproof mascara, its not good for your eyelashes, it's harsh on them and really hard to remove even with proper eye-makeup remover and can result in your eyelashes coming out from trying to get the stuff off.

you can actually get zinc cream to match your skin colour and it will stay on in water because it's zinc, you could try that. oh and there is waterproof eyeliner available as well.
i dont suggest wearing any make-up

if you are on holiday, you should let your skin breathe

you should give your face break and just use exfoliators and moisturiser. This way your face will get a better tan and your pores will have a chance to become unblocked and you wont have to use concearler as you wont have any spots =D

your face will look much more fresh and it will glow if you drink lots of water.

    NEVER use waterproof mascara

it is bad for your lashes.

    hope this helps =D
i wouldnt go through all that. you will be sweating and swimming. just try a tinted moisturizer with sunscreen of course and a waterproof mascara. noone at the beach is going to be all made up. you will be more comfortable this way.
You're at the beach. Why do you need makeup? Let the sun shine in!!

What is the difference between foundation and concealer? ?

What is the difference? What type would you recommend to best hide acne? What is the difference between foundation and concealer? ?
foundation is used for the entire face and used to even out skin tone, concealer is used to conceal under eye circles, or used as an eye shadow base, or to conceal blemishesWhat is the difference between foundation and concealer? ?
Foundation evens out your complexion, concealer is for dark circles, small blotches and pimples. You shouldn't really use either if you have acne, it may make it worse if not washed off properly.
concealer has a higher coverage. (foundation may only be a medium coverage..maybe 50% for example, whereas concealer has a higher.) basically meaning you can see more under foundation than you can under concealer.

if your acne is really red and kinda hard to cover, i'd recommend concealer. if your acne is all you'll use the concealer for, you can get one that is specifically for acne.
foundation is a liquid that covers yr whole face and concealer covers up blemishes.
concealer is for zits and foundation is used to put all over your face
if you want to hide acne then get cream and powder foundation, i had acne and i use to use the two products to hide it away and it really worked. try a good branded one as they show the magic the best

    hope i helped

concealer is to hide the flaws of your skin, like black eyes or pimples,

foundation is to make ur face the same color

You use concealer in certain areas that need extra coverage, like acne, and then you put foundation over that to cover your entire face.
foundation is usually a liquid and concealer is usually a stick or powder, if you have really bad acne you prolly want to use a oil free foundation first or something that wont clog your pores and maybe put a powder on top.
concealer helps hide blemisher, or discolorations in the skin.

foundation evens out skin tone while covering discolorations and blemishes as well.

You cant just use concealer, you have to use both.

But you can just use foundation.

My foundation/concealer always ends up disappearing by the end of the day!?

I do use face wash and Clean and Clear Morning Burst face wash~ its supposed to make your face more shine free.

Then I use Prescriptives Virtually Fresh Foundation

    and

    Philosophy's Supernatural Powder Foundation

By the end of the day, all my makeup except for my eyeliner/mascara is gone :(

Are there any techniques that can help me make sure my makeup stays on all day?? Thanks! My foundation/concealer always ends up disappearing by the end of the day!?
rimmel cool matte, stays on all dayMy foundation/concealer always ends up disappearing by the end of the day!?
try another kind of make fro example i use mac and it stays on the whole day but it's a little expensive!!!
u should try a face primer .. like smashbox photofinish primer light.. or the laura mercier primer.. it helps makeup last longer... also some ppl use MAC fix + spray after powder 2 kinda set the powder once and for all and it makes it look more natural... also if ur face is oily, id check and see if the virtually fresh foundation is good for oily skin. bc if i remember, that one wasnt suggested for oily skin, i THINK, idk tho %26gt;_%26gt; lol but u might wanna look into a differnt foundation for oily skin and for ur eyes.. u should put urban decay primer potion on ur eyes, it helps ur shadow last just about all day, its awesome!
It may be the makeup you are using. I use a mineral foundation and concealer and never have any issues with my makeup coming off. It stays on until I take it off, and always looks very fresh. It is an all natural oil free product and I really love it. It is called kms mineral essentials.

Is there a right way of applying foundation and concealer?

Im not the best at applying makeup because Im not a pro yet. I just started using foundation and concealer because I have ance scars and im insecure about it. I want to get that flawless look but I dont know how to go about doing it. Please help me.Is there a right way of applying foundation and concealer?
The best thing before applying any kind of foundation is to wash your face with a mild soap and apply a good moisturizer suitable for your skin type.

The rest is almost easy depending on your skin type.

You should test some products and choose the one that you feel comfortable to work with and is friendly with your skin.Is there a right way of applying foundation and concealer?
    Hi,

There are a couple ways to apply it, depending on the finished look you want. If you want a more natural look, dab the concealer on using a sponge and blend in with your fingers. You can use the same technique for foundation using a clockwise motion going from the outside of you face towards the inside. Don't forget to blend!

The other way to conceal, my personal fav, is to put on your foundation 1st, using the method above, and then put on the concealer. This will ultimately cover more and last longer. For even longer wear, dust a translucent powder over the concealer.

Last but not least, try not to stress about you scars. Everyone has imperfections, learn to love yourself and others will too :)
You are supppose to use the concealer first on the scars and belemishs then apply the foundation over. Use a foundation sponge and apply by section (forehead, cheeks, nose chin)

Blend down around the chin, up at the forhead and towards the hair line around checks. Set with a powder or a mineral foundation. I would recommend doing this before you apply eyeshadow so you have a clean slate to start with
the make-up i always use is dream matte mouse foundation it is really good and it will cover up almost eveything, it leaves no patch's it blends in with your skin colour, the colour i use is fawn it's the perfect colour for me
apply concealer w/ your ring finger in a rolling motion over your scars focusing on the area around the blemish as well as the blemish itself. remember that concealer is not to erase the blemish, it simply conceals it. when you apply foundation over the blemish use a large brush and a powder and blot over the concealer first before you apply it to your entire face. (that locks in the concealer for hours)
go to this website its verry descriptive: http://www.handbag.com/beauty/tips/conce鈥?/a>
I like powder foundations (like MAC Studio Fix) as they are the least messy and offer great coverage. These are applied with large foundation brushes (sponges in all cases make makeup look cakey). As far as concealer, liquid is better than stick in my opinion (again, less cakey), and you can easily apply it with a nylon bristle ';paint brush'; (Sonia Kashuk makes great brushes, available at Target). Make sure you use foundation first, them dot on concealer and continue to blot the brush in the general area until it's well blended, depending on the severity of the blemish you can also retouch the foundation over the top of the concealer. After this you can use a sheer powder (for a matte finish) and then any bronzer or blush you like to use.
check out the show what not to wear on TLC - their makeup artist has GREAT tips on makeup...also, find someone whose makeup you really like and ask - most women are very happy to share hair %26amp; makeup ideas!
Put the concealer on first and blend it! Use a powder based foundation cause it covers SO much better! Put the foundation on your finger tips and kind of mix it between your fingers! That will help you put it on without it getting gunky! Then just blend it on your skin! Hope that helps some!
i think u can skip the concealer. its gonna make ur makeup look uneven. apply the foundation over ur face and use a smaller brush to apply over the scars evenly. then use a transparent loose powder for a more lasting and ';flawless'; look.

  • What is the difference between primer, concealer, foundation, & tinted moisturizer?!?

Primer- it's supposed to help your makeup adhere to the skin. For people with oily skin, it's supposed to keep some of the oil from messing up your make-up. Can also be used as base on the eyelid to keep the shadow from melting or creasing.

Concealer- Used to cover things like zits, dark under eye circles, scars, etc. Stuff that's not going to get covered by foundation alone. It's a very high coverage, opaque formula. Usually comes in wand, pot, or stick form.

Foundation- For evening out your skin tone. Also known as base. Most of us have uneven skin tones, so you put foundation on to basically make the skin look the same color. Coverage can vary from sheer to heavy (but not as heavy as concealer) and can come in liquid, creme, stick, and powder form.

Tinted moisturizer - Just as the name implies, moisturizer with a bit of tint to it. Sheerest of the sheer coverage. Used for an extremely natural look or if you have great looking skin that day. What is the difference between primer, concealer, foundation, %26amp; tinted moisturizer?!?
A primer creates a smooth canvas for you to apply makeup. Concealer covers zits and dark circles. Foundation gives your skin an even look. And tinted moisturizer is a light weight foundation. What is the difference between primer, concealer, foundation, %26amp; tinted moisturizer?!?
Primer - Gets your face ready for foundation

Concealer - Conceals dark eyes or blemishes

Foundation - Evens skin tone out

Tinted moisturizer - Moisturizer that has a tint to it.

    I only use tinted moisturizer
foundation and concealer are more heavy if you want a natural look tinted moisturiser is best because its light

How to put on foundation or concealer?

I'd like to get some cheap foundation and/or concealer, but I don't really know how to put it on or anything like that. I usually just use a stick of coverup for under the eyes. Any tips? :)How to put on foundation or concealer?
All of Covergirl's makeup works the best for me. Their foundation isn't gloppy and their concealer and powder don't clog pores. It's cheap and you can find it at Targart, Walmart, or any nearby drugstore. For foundation you take sponge and put a dot the size of half a penny on the sponge and rub it onto your face. Don't rub at first, just lightly dab and then rub in with a CLEAN finger. For concealer just use it for problem areas are and under eyes. Don't use too much or else you skin will dry and may get itchy. Good luck! How to put on foundation or concealer?

If I want to cover up minor blemishes, do I use concealer or foundation or both?

Not to cover up my WHOLE face,

    just some minor blemishes.

Something that helps make it unnoticeable that I'm wearing cover up.

Thanks for all the answers! :)If I want to cover up minor blemishes, do I use concealer or foundation or both?
    Hi!

Well, i find that putting concealer will work better for blemishes than having to blend foundation all over your face. So i recommend using a concealer matching your skin tone color! If you put foundation, you have to cover the whole face so the face wont be uneven. So again, I highly recommend using concealer of your skin tone! Always remember to get one shade lighter.

I hope this helped! If you have any other questions, feel free to email me at:

    aimprincess98@gmail.com

P.S Visit my youtube chanel. It talks and demonstrates looks for makeup, hair, and nails! It's Julieg713If I want to cover up minor blemishes, do I use concealer or foundation or both?
if you do put makeup just on the spots it will be more obvious that you are wearing them (light will always reflect off of it differently)

if you do a couple dots of concealer (blend out) and then get a nice all over powder it usually blends in. i use a pressed powder called brightener, its in the compact that has lots of colors in it, green yellow pinks etc. its really great. green gets rid of redness, yellow helps conceal and the pinks blend into your own skin tone to make it look nice and natural.
Foundation will hide most of all minor blemishes then follow it up with a loose powder to smooth it out, and make it look more natural!

Concealer are for more of those darker, harder blemishes that the foundation can't quite hide. Concealer is really great for under the eye, and some small wrinkles!
Put on concealer that matches your skintone on the blemishes, and put on a loose powder to set it. Don't cake it on, just put a little bit on a concealer brush and blend the concealer; it looks more natural and it blends into your skin so it doesn't look fake. It's barely noticeable :]
Foundation evens out your skin tone and is used for larger areas of your face. Concealer will cover up small blemishes (remember to get it one shade lighter!).
I used to have a lotttt of acne %26amp; I just used foundation %26amp; it helped, it will go away in a couple of days .
if you are not looking for something to cover up your whole face then get a concealer close to your skin tone

Is wearing foundation, concealer & loose powder too much make-up?

I have pretty good skin. I usually only use concealer for my dark circles and loose powder on top of that. I was looking into using foundation but I wasn't sure if it takes a lot away from a natural look or if its too cakey. Any suggestions or comments about wearing foundation?

I was also looking into using primer because I use eye shadow pretty much everyday but it usually wears off during the day..do you have any experience with using primer? Has anyone tried the Too-Face Shadow Insurance? Is wearing foundation, concealer %26amp; loose powder too much make-up?
If you already have good skin, just stick with your concealer and powders. As for Too Faced Shadow Insurance (TSFI) , it's awesome. Just be sure to apply it very thinly with a concealer brush to avoid creasing. Is wearing foundation, concealer %26amp; loose powder too much make-up?
wearing foundation isnt that bad as long as you put a minimal amount on, especially if you have good skin. If you wear to much, it just ends up looking gross and caked on. In my opinion, you shouldnt even worry about it if you dont really need it. And for the primer, I someones use the one benifit makes and its nice and i think it stays on longer and looks smoother.
Why don't you use BEYOND COLOR Skin Smoothing Compact Foundation? It will work as all three a foundation, powder and concealer and won't weigh your face down and save you money!

For a primer I use Magix Face Perfector. Its only $7.99 and works all day long! You can try them at www.youravon.com/dhullum use code fsany for free shipping too! GL!
ya i wouldnt use foundation, and ive used too faced shadow insurance and its pretty good. the urban decay one is good too but less convient.
yea, concelear and loose powder is great, but i wouldnt use fondation, its cakey and clogs your pores
2 cakey at least stop using one

i use cover up if i have blem.s %26amp; powder 2 cover up dark circles and keep my eyeliner on

    no clue 4 other Q

Is it okay to use a cream concealer under my foundation? Or is a liquid concealer better?

I bought the Benefit's boi-ing today. I already have the Benefit's Hello Flawless pressed powder foundation. So is it okay if I apply my cream concealer first then the powder foundation? I see most people always using liquid concealer and then applying either pressed powder or liquid foundation, but never cream. I have combination/pale skin btw.Is it okay to use a cream concealer under my foundation? Or is a liquid concealer better?
concealer should go on top of foundation...

if you put it on first, you rub it off when you apply the foundation

    steps:

    1. primer

    2. foundation

    3. concealer

    4. setting powderIs it okay to use a cream concealer under my foundation? Or is a liquid concealer better?
Cream or liquid concealer works under foundation. Cream is basically the same thing, just make sure you blend it in. If anything, foundation on top helps because it sets the concealer and keeps it long-lasting.
Just use liquid foundation. Or else you would have alot on.

And people notice foundation. I mean we have this girl who I know and she puts on alot of foundation and people make fun of her and call her fake. So just dont put on alot.
    yes! put cream first

if you put powder first, the cream will get messy

    and i won't look natural

What kind of foundation and concealer should I buy?

My face is oily and I also have pimple scars to worry about. And I don't understand what ';Light to Medium coverage'; means. Help please. Thanks. ^___^What kind of foundation and concealer should I buy?
Hi, I'm a makeup artist at Sephora and would be happy to address your concern. I use Laura Mercier. She is known for her ';flawless face'; line. There are 4 simple steps to achieve this look.

Step 1: Use Foundation Primer to smooth and prep the skin.

Step 2: Apply foundation. Choose the formula you like based on your skin type and the coverage that you want. To cover imperfections, I recommend a liquid foundation because it covers more. I would only wear this when I have many blemishes. On a daily basis I would wear a powder foundation.

Step 3: Apply concealer. Again, choose the formula you like based on your skin type and the coverage that you want.

Step 4: Use Loose Setting Powder. This will make the makeup last longer and adds a nice glow to your face.

The line is pricey, but the results are worth it. If you feel this is too costly for you, try Bare Escentuals. A lot of my girlfriends use it, and they all love it! They have a Starter Kit that would be perfect for you to try. It is a great value too.

They have it in different colors too.

Light to medium coverage means the color is light or medium. If you want maximum coverage, look for darker powders but not too dark. You want to look as natural as possible.

I know you only wanted suggestions for foundation and concealer, but being so satisfied with my use of Laura Mercier and her products, I had to share my product knowledge with you so you can at least know about it. It would be wonderful if you tried it! =)

I hope this helped! Feel free to come in for a free consultation. Also, don't be afraid to ask for samples, everyone does. Good luck! =)What kind of foundation and concealer should I buy?
I have oily skin, blemishes and scars.

Bare minerals covers really well. I recommend it.

Light coverage means it proabbly evens out your skint one, but wouldnt cover up any scars and whatnot.

Medium coverage would covers scars and whatnot I would assume

Full coverage hides just about everything, but looks cakey, and then can also make things noticable cause it's so globby.

If it says medium to light, it's probably a good choice.
well i have oily skin to and i don't now how to stop the shine i use L'oreal infallible foundation but i heard that mary kay and mac are good but quite expensive

light to medium means that you can get your foundation to look light like you have nothing on or to a medium look it will not have a heavy courage it just means the type of coverage the foundation can give you hope you stop your shine i forgot to mention you could get blotting papers quite cheap maybe in summer you could use a tinted mostrizer and concelar and about those pimple scars i would recommed sudocrem which is good to get rid of scars

    good luck

  • What is the best foundation/concealer?

I have some scars from acne, pretty huge pores, oily face, and pretty big eyebags when i wake up.What is the best foundation/concealer?
Me too. I use Clinique Superfit foundation first (it's oil-free, maximum coverage and doesn't budge if you get hot), then my concealer is either Clinique or Lancome (depends how much money I've got). I always apply foundation before concealer. Then I use Christian Dior powder as it's really light and won't clog up. Lastly, Touche Eclat around the eye area to cover up bags.

All the rest of my make up is pretty cheap stuff like Max Factor, but as my skin really bothers me, I feel for me, spending more on giving me confidence with my skin is worth it 100%. Anything that can make the difference in feeling like a spotty hideous mess and not wanting to leave the house or feeling good and not worrying about my face is almost magical in my book!

I'm 32 and it took me years of trying and testing to find exactly what does the job for me.

Acne sucks. What is the best foundation/concealer?
The Body Shop's jumbo pencil concealer work well on my skin. The ones made by MAC and Clinique are okay too as they come in many different shades.
MAC make-up is good but i wouldnt recommend their foundation as it doesn last comes off after an hour or so, and everyone else i know who also uses MAC agrees they dont use the foundation
Oh my gosh, you just described my face, no joke. Try MAC... they sell pretty good make-up products. I use their Studio Fix foundation and their Blot Powder (to help reduce the oil for my extremely oily face).
Tart make up! Check it out! I love, love, love it! :)

Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage concealer and brush are great cover ups and stay on. For foundation? Jane Iredale or Make-up forever
Oh, I just got this great stuff last Saturday from Macy's. I never use foundation but this is great. I have large pores and rosacea. It is Prescriptives brand (macy's has a counter) and you can get a color print, so they match your skin color to the foundation.. It is Prescriptive's Virtually Fresh. I love it.
I would recommend Maybelline New Yorks Pure.Makeup. i use it, its not a heavy foundation!! its shine free and had 50% water instead of pore-clogging oils that can cause breakouts. i love this stuff!!

Go to this page for more info on it..

i always breakingout, and my skin really oily... then start since i use mineral makeup from jane iradale, it's clearing....

coz before i tried lots of brand like MAC ( dun use it, make breakout worst), chanel, giorgio armani, laura mercier (this one has good coverage), perscriptive (good as well), stila, NARS, bobbi brown, etc...

but the one that i really love is jane iradale mineral makeup....

i think you can try bare mineral, bee luscious, sheer cover, glomineral,etc...

i heard they really good too....(but i never try them)

mineral makeup wont block pores... save for blemishes skin... and has good coverage...

Can a dermatologist fix your face so you dont have to wear foundation or concealer?

im sick of putting on foundation and concealer every day and just want to wake up looking perfect. can a dermatologist do a treatment to fix your face so you dont need it?Can a dermatologist fix your face so you dont have to wear foundation or concealer?
haha noCan a dermatologist fix your face so you dont have to wear foundation or concealer?
I had this problem but I don't anymore. Toner is a really important part of your skin regime. Right after you wash and dry your face you are supposed to use a toner (clear) on it and let it air dry (Use a Cotton ball) Clearasil has a 4 step kit with with the toner and the moisturizer that really helps. I no longer have to put foundation or concealer on. I do put tinted moisturizer on my skin with looks powder for a nice evening look.
If your problem is acne and other treatable skin conditions, then yes. But if you just want your skin to look perfect, they can't do that. Dermatologists can improve the health of your skin, and if that's what you want to not have to wear foundation, then yes.

What is the best drugstore foundation and concealer?

Plz %26amp; Thank u!What is the best drugstore foundation and concealer?
    foundation - revlon colour stay

concealer - maybellineWhat is the best drugstore foundation and concealer?
I like Maybelline pure makeup. It's not oily at all and it blends in well.
Maybelline Pure makeup is amazing. It's the only foundation I would ever buy from a drug store brand. It's made out of 50% water, so it doesn't clog your pores. Want to see what it looks like on me? (I have acne scars) and it covers it completely.

I'm not so sure about concealer though, because with the foundation it covers it.
loreal bare naturale foundation and loreal true match concealer :)
    Maybelline Liquid Dream Moose Foundation.

With this I use no concealer.

What is your favorite inexpensive foundation and concealer for combonation skin?

Maybelline Whipped for foundation and I use something by Almay for concealer... but you are supposed to use the same brand of cosmetics.... so try to stick with the brand of mascara, blush, ect that you currently use! What is the best concealer/foundation to use?

i'm looking for something to last, and not to be too heavy. i want something very light and natural, but at the same time be at least semi-effective in covering up my blemishes. what is the best? specifics would be wonderful.

also, what is the best way to choose which shade is right for me and best matches my skin tone?

    thanks.

:)What is the best concealer/foundation to use?
I use an all natural mineral concealer foundation, and I absolutely love it! I have dark circles under my eyes and a dark discoloration around my mouth. The concealer and foundation cover it nicely without looking heavy, and gives my complexion an airbrushed look.

Because it is all natural, it is great for those that have acne/blemishes as the zinc oxide in the makeup acts as a healing ingredient. This makeup came recommended by our dermatologist. They offer free samples on their website; I think it might cost $1 to ship. They send you two shades of either fair, light, medium or tan. I mix a couple of the shades together to make my own. :)

You can check them out at www.kmsmineralessentials.com. They also sell some of their products and kits on ebay. Good luck to you! What is the best concealer/foundation to use?
Stila Tinted Moisturizer. It is the best ever. Its moisturizer that prevents skin from dryness like many concealers or foundations do. You can find it at Sephora and they have open bottles so you can try a little on your jaw line to see which one works best. Its about 25 bucks. Also Bath and Body Works has a Sheer Tinted Moisturizer form their new brand Goldie that works just as well and its 24 dollars. If you're going for something more drugstore price/brand Physician's Formula...anything from thier line really things there cost about 6-15 bucks but for a drugstore it works nice,
I always had a problem with my makeup fading or looking to fake or way to heavy and unnatural. After years of testing makeups myself I found the perfect foundation. It is in a makeup studio in most malls it is called Merle Norman and the brand is called Luxia lasting foundation. It stays put and fresh for 12 hours it makes your skin look better after every use it covers acne blemishes and looks natural and feels light. Check it out because it is the best of the best. {and it is packed with vitamins and SPF}.

    And if your looking for the right shade take about three of the closest shades and put them on your hand in between your index finger and your thumb and see with one matches.{that disappears on your skin.}
Well i have quite pale skin, so foundation for me is really hard to find.

But recently i found this Australis tinted moisturiser. The reason its really good, is because its light, you can't tell its foundation (so you look awesomely, naturally tanned ;) ) and has an spf of 30. It doesn't clog my pores or anything.

They have heaps of shade, so choose the shade closest to your skin. That way, it won't look like you have any on.

    Which is the point right?

    Good Luck (:

  • Anyone know a healthy foundation or concealer that doesnt clog your pores?

Even powder clogs mine which is annoying as i need it to cover up extra shine on my face!Anyone know a healthy foundation or concealer that doesnt clog your pores?
There is only one product that can meet your criteria that is Bee Luscious Cosmetics their mineral foundation DOES NOT Contain BISMUTH which in turn Bare Minerals and other brands do contain that will irritate your skin and cause severe breaking out.

I have been a professional makeup artist for over 20 years and was introduced to Bee Luscious over a year ago, since using these products on my exclusive clients I have found a remarkable line that truly is good for the skin.Anyone know a healthy foundation or concealer that doesnt clog your pores?
Try www.youravon.com/tpinder they nice products for foundation and concealors.

Brings life back to my face! Date: January 18, 2008

    ';Since moving from the sunshine state my face has paled and my blemishes that once hid behind my sun kissed tan are willingly introducing themselves. lolol I used to use a simple powder compack (Covergirl) but I gave this product a try and it has done more for my look than I ever imagined. It is exactly as marketed, skin smoothing and makes my face look more radiant. I would like that the compact open fuller so that I can use the mirror better but other than that it is a must have!';

    A comment form Avon costumer
    SHEER COVER-

its an inexpensive yet long lasting system that is tailored to your skin tone. If you buy it on line they usually throw in an extra gift. Its a mineral foundation that has not clogged my pores or broke me out in the year I have used it. it creates a flawless ';fresh faced'; look - it doesn't give that ';MADE UP'; look that a lot of foundations give. Also it lets your skin breathe. Complete satisfaction is guaranteed. %26amp; it comes with a strong concealer that matches skin tone

    Hope it helps
I use kms mineral essentials. I love it because it settles differently on my skin than regular powders do. It glides on top, does not settle in to lines and creases. Mineral makeup does not clog your pores, and it is healthy because it is completely 100% natural. The mineral veil not only helps control the shine but it gives your complexion a smooth airbrushed type look.

    I hope that helps!
The one from Bee Luscious is awesome. You might want to give it a try.
i use Pure Makeup by Maybelline. It covers very nicely. It's oil free, and uses H2O as the main ingredient.
Bee-Luscious is the only one that I have found that works and doesn't clog my pores. It can't even feel it on my face and it stays on all day and never fades.
    Two words...Bare Minerals.
BARE MINERALS!!! Their product ';Multi-Tasking Bisque'; is a lifesaver!! I have very sensitive skin, and it's never broken me out. Covers anything from BAD undereye circles to a pimple bigger than Pluto. It is a tad pricey, but you don't have to use very much, and I'm still on the same container that I bought almost 3 months ago.
Mineral make-up does not clog pores and looks very natural. I recommnec Bare Minerals, which is quite pricey. Or Loreal Minerals which is cheaper.
Try puritycosmetics,co,uk. It is really good!
    Dream moose works marvellously.
I had the same problem and Clinque works amazingly....it's a little more exspensive (15-20 dollars) but worth it and it lasts forever!
I've had great luck with L'Oreal Bare Naturale Mineral Foundation...it never clogs my pores, never breaks me out, and it helps fend away shine...BN even makes a coordinating concealer to use in conjunction w/ the foundation, but just the foundation alone works well as a spot concealer (use a concealer brush)....
    maybelline pure.makeup

its 50% water and doesnt clog your pores.
neutrogena make a line of cosmetics that not only wont clog pores but they will help clear up acne because they have acne treatment medicine in them
go to www.naturally-cured-skin.com... they dont have the make-up on there but i went there for acne, submitted my info and found out about their make-up from rep. It is all natural and I LOVE it! When you are contacted just make sure to let them know you are interested in make-up and skin products.

What is the difference between powder, foundation, and concealer ?

concealer you would normaly use first to hide pimples

foundation blends it all in and give a nice color to your face

and powder is just to add the finishing touch! :]What is the difference between powder, foundation, and concealer ?
powder is to control shine and even skin tones, foundation is to even out skin tone and cover some blemishes, concealer is to cover blemishes. What is the difference between powder, foundation, and concealer ?
    concealer hides blemishes

foundation makes it all the same color

powder just adds finishing touch and a bit of color
