How are you applying your make up? It's important to be in the best natural light if you can and never use your fingers. Always use a sponge or a foundation brush.

Are you purchasing the proper shade? Cover Fx (at sephora) has many, many colors to choose from. It was once said to me that it's the best kept secret in the industry. A little pricey but this is your face we're talking about. You're making an investment.

I am still a huge fan of Cover Girl Invisible Concealer though. I've tried everything. Please try it! It really does work.
have you tried bare minerals?
Try the Luxiva line from Merle Norman. Saved my face!!! My skin is so sensitive that some products almost burned it, but now I used their facewash and the Age Defying foundation even though I'm a teen. It stays on through pretty much everthing and makes my skin look flawless. I am honestly addicted to this stuff lol.
I would try a tinted moisturizer. There are many brands to choose from and they are so nice on/feel nice, and blend in if you get a good color match. You can wear some concealer underneath if you need it.

My skin is pale w/pink undertones, so it took some trial and error to find a good tinted moisturizer that lasted, looked natural, and felt nice. I ended up w/ a dept store brand, but you should experiment w/ a variety to find a good one for your skin type and skin tone. There are oil free ones if you have more oily skin.
I understand how frustrating that can be! Have you tried a mineral concealer and makeup yet? I get the best coverage with the foundation and concealer from kms mineral essentials. It covers when nothing else has. It was different getting used to apply these products wtih a brush, but will a little practice, I was a pro in no time, and it was worth it when I saw the results.
It would help to know what skin tone and the type of skin. However, Mary Kay mineral powder foundation is weightless and blends for a natural, flawless look. Makes lines, wrinkles and other imperfections seem to disappear.
