Do I want Concealer or Foundation, or something totally different?

I am looking to cover up some slight marks from spots, and even out my face tone. Am I after concealer or foundation? Also, apart from MAC and Bobbi Brown, are there any other good and slightly less expensive face makeup for black + white mixed-race skin ?Do I want Concealer or Foundation, or something totally different?

You'd probably want concealer to cover up the marks and spots on your face. I mean you can do it with foundation alone if it covers up well. Concealer just provides another layer of coverage.
well if you want to make it look like your wearing no make-up, use concealer. but i use foundation, puts some colour on my face. also, when im going out, i put both on. cause concealers great for hiding spots and stuff.


max factor is really good, some olay products are too. but i always use max factor. theres also an olay moisturiser, which adds a hint of foundation to your face, for different skin typess

I sometimes just end up beginning cheap and sampling a few different ones. Do what fits your situation and Im pretty sure your instinct will be right.
You are after both!..concealers conceal dark circles, blemishes, pigmentation marks, acne, acne scars etc. And foundations you apply all over your face to even out your skintone and stuff. So i reckon you need both..for foundation i reccomend Maybellines liquid power mineral foundation and Revlon colorstay foundation. And for concealer Maybellines liquid powder mineral and revlon colorstays concealer they have a good range of colors for all skintones!

concealer is for covering up spots and dark cercles un der your eyes. where as foundation will tone your face and make it seem nice and smooth


Maybelline mousse foundation is good, and not too expensive, and i think they have quite a good range of skin colours. Revlon is good too
