How do you apply foundation, concealer and cover up?

What are the main differences between these 3 things, and in what order do you use them? is concealer basically the same as cover up? confuuused:SHow do you apply foundation, concealer and cover up?
I've done it in different order but lately I do this:





Foundation first on a clean face with a little lotion for SPF. You can mix them together or just apply the lotion first and then the foundation while it's still moist.





Start at the top of your cheekbone and stroke downward to avoid fluffing natural fine facial hairs. Apply evenly around the edge of your jawline and down toward your neck so that it blends.





For under the eyes I put a little dot of concealer on my finger tip and dab all over under each eye until it's even.





I take a look to make sure it's even and will use cover up on any reddish or uneven areas if necessary.





I finish with powder on a brush but not too much. Just a little dusting.

concealer hide blemishes like dark circles under your eyes, cover up is for things like zits but they're very similar. foundation covers your face and part of your neck and gioves you over all coverage. Learning how to properly apply these is more of a hands on thing as the techniqwues varies upon the type. you could always go to the mall make-up counters or contact a Mary Kay consultant to learn how to properly put on make-up and find what kind is right for you.
First moisturize, if needed


Foundation is the cream


Concealer is for pimples just on the pimple and cover up is like powder, as to my knowledge..


I put on foundation on my face and neck just make sure its all blended in or else itll look like a clown!


then i use coverup powder over that

Yes concealer and cover up are the same thing. I like to use concealer first becuase i have dark skin, so concealers tend to be lighter. I then just cover it up with foundation to give the colour back on my face
use concealer first lightly and pat on with your ring finger as it is the softest of all .. never ever rub or stretch your skin to get it on. then use a foundation.. now i use special brushes that i bought specifically for applying make up. You can get them at macy's. not sure what you mean by cover up and the differences.. i would imagine it is the same as concealer.
foundation is a layer of makeup that you put over your face to put other makeup on top


concealer is to hide parts of your face that u dont want to be seen and cover up is pretty puch the same as concealer
